The ML-1 Oil Wear Particle Detector is an industrial integrated oil condition monitoring device. Based on modern photoelectric microscopic imaging and computer digital image processing technologies, it automatically detects the morphology, size, and quantity distribution of characteristic wear particles larger than 5μm in oil. This enables the evaluation of engine wear conditions and wear types. Additionally, the ML-1 Oil Wear Particle Detector is an excellent particle counter, providing assessment results for particles in oil samples. It can also be configured with different particle size evaluation standards according to user requirements.
In the ML-1 oil circuit, a software-controlled peristaltic pump provides the driving force, drawing the oil sample to be tested into the system through the inlet. The flow cell is positioned within the optical paths of both transmission and reflection light sources. As the oil sample flows through the flow cell, a high-speed CMOS industrial camera captures its image signals, which are then sent to an industrial computer for processing. Through software analysis, the captured morphological features of the particles are identified to determine the types and quantities of wear particles, as well as the oil contamination level. This enables wear condition monitoring, fault trend analysis, and expert diagnostics for engine systems.
